Courses and modules are basically one and the same except that modules are usually within a retreat setting and courses are given in a traditional classroom setting and provide more "hands-on practice" (6 days = 50 hrs each course).

The modules are usually 20 hours long and do not provide as much practice (you can always practice on your own) but do provide all the necessary and required theory to practice and become proficient in your chosen field. There's nothing like "experiential knowledge" in order to excel and master the subject at hand!
